Call for communications and applications

Call for communications and applications

We are organising the first call for research communications and applications focusing on digital collaboration. Presentations will be held on 3 February 2026 in Rennes, as part of the PEPR eNSEMBLE event, which is being organised in collaboration with several other PEPRs from 2 to 5 February 2026.

Objectives

  • Identify the resources (material, software, human, etc.) required to develop ongoing initiatives from 2026 onwards.
  • Share the results within and beyond the PEPR eNSEMBLE.
  • Communicate our skills and promote collaboration with our partners.
  • Encourage and support projects to be promoted.

Format

The subject and format of the presentation are open, as long as they allow for the communication and/or promotion of the PEPR eNSEMBLE’s results and/or skills. This may include the demonstration of an interaction technique, presentation of software, interactive experience, video, game or scientific mediation tool.

How to participate?

To participate, authors must submit a proposal of no more than three pages to pm@pepr-ensemble.fr before 19 December 2025 (deadline extended to 5 January 2026), and be prepared to give a presentation on the day of the PEPR eNSEMBLE event.

The application file should specify:

  • the title of the presentation
  • the authors’ surnames, first names and institutions;
  • a summary of the purpose of the presentation (objective, format, relevance, originality, etc.);
  • the specific material and human resources required for the on-site presentation during the event (e.g. dimensions, tables, etc.);
  • the future of the presentation: What is the long-term ambition and what are the necessary means to achieve it?

The presentations will be given on 3 February 2026 in Rennes in front of the eNSEMBLE community. Authors whose applications are selected will be eligible for financial assistance to cover the cost of attending.

Eligibility

The subject of the presentation must relate to digital collaboration. All members of the eNSEMBLE PEPR community (PhD students, thesis supervisors, postdoctoral researchers, researchers from associated teams, etc.) are eligible. If you are registered on the eNSEMBLE PEPR mailing list, you are probably eligible (ask us if you are unsure!).

Please note that the support grants (€8,000–€12,000) paid to all PEPR doctoral and postdoctoral students include funding for activities to promote and disseminate results. Feel free to use these funds for this call!

Prizes: budget to continue/improve communication and valorisation activities

A total budget of €10,000 will be awarded to approximately five projects (this number may vary depending on the number of responses to the call) to support the development and promotion of the objects presented. The selection criteria are as follows:

  • Relevance to the objectives of the PEPR eNSEMBLE;
  • Ambition and relevance of the subject of the presentation;
  • Potential for promoting the results of work carried out within the PEPR eNSEMBLE.

Directors’ message

We encourage the entire community (within each PC, between PCs, and between PCs and ANR projects) to communicate and promote the work carried out within the PEPR eNSEMBLE.
